You can see a lot of trees and birds from our balcony.
Now, across the yard in a tree, there's a lonely bird sitting in that same spot for the third or maybe fourth day in a row.
I might be overthinking this, but I have a nagging feeling it might be searching for its partner or something. Now I don't know much about birds, but I do know some of the birds that spend their summers here in Finland are monogamous (and that males come earlier to claim their nesting territory...)
Short story short, there was this incident last summer, where a bird had apparently hit the balcony door at night and died :( and it looks like its the same species.
It just couldn't, could it? :/ I kinda feel sad, if it were so.
